About My Work
My Vision
It formally began over 25 years ago
when I started my work under the name
a little shade of wonderful™.
It began informally even before that,
simply picking things up or stopping to notice something on walks and trips, while
working or doing daily activities...
I, inadvertently, was practicing
awareness - awareness of wonderful,

And I simply like to share that.
My artist's statement?
All of us benefit from a daily dose of wonderful, no matter how small. My hope is that you get some wonderful in my work
and that it will help you see wonderful all around, in the many different forms it takes. ©
My Approach
A friend once said that my glass and
jewelry work have a simple elegance to them. I feel that, while not intentional, I
like and appreciate that description.
I gravitate toward the organic in overall style, and with a tremor in my hand, the two have a certain fit, thank goodness.

Exploring, playing, furrowing my brow, feeling my way through - these happen a lot. And, with these, quite a bit of creative problem-solving and cool moments, too. :)
